Write slogans on social issues of your choice, following the spirit of Occupy Wall Street placards. The watchwords: originality, provocation, daring, disruption, essentiality and impact.
A protest slogan works when it needs no explanation. It must hit in one line, stay in your head and make whoever reads it feel on the right side or the wrong side. I chose three themes: climate change, feminism, animal testing โ and for each I searched for the shortest, most uncomfortable sentence possible. No rhetoric, no virtue signalling: just the point, said the way nobody dares say it.
Let's make the Earth revolve around the Sun, not around our ego.
We don't want the world at our feet โ just for it to stop trampling us.
